Students

Students are key to this whole initiative. 

In 2024, more than 14 Lakh students gave JEE exam. Less than 10 thousand will get into IITs. If you are above 50 thousand AIR (All India Rank), you will not get into any of the NITs and IIITs. There are several good private institutes that have come up over the last 10-15 years in India and many people joining there will also likely get good exposure – both in terms of education as well as a good peer group. However, if you are from a small town and did not get a chance to go through the rigorous coaching, chances are that you would not be amongst the top to go to any of these colleges. The idea is to help such students go through quality education nevertheless, perhaps with a focus on developing skills that are most admired in the industry, be confident and eventually do good in their careers. Hopefully some of you will stay back in your little towns (which remote work opportunities in Computer Science easily allow you to do), and be the inspiration for many other students from your town for years to come. 

The course list is already available freely and openly on this website. If you (as a student) would like to be part of this initiative, we would seek your help in the following ways:

1. Fill up the form below to express your interest in this initiative
2. We have compiled a list of courses and have given some reference videos which we felt are a good starting point. If you go through those videos, do let us know your feedback. If you think a different online course is a better fit given the course outcomes we have collated, please do let us know. We would want to improve upon the reference online content in a crowdsourced manner so that everyone can benefit from it.
3. We will be connecting the interested students with each other so that you can be friends with like minded people and support each other.
